TODAY MARKS THE DEADLINE FOR DATA COLLECTION ON TEACHING AND LEARNING OF PUBLIC PRIMARY AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN GHANA

DATA COLLECTION ON TEACHING AND LEARNING OF FRENCH IN PUBLIC PRIMARY AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN GHANA

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform you that, the Regional Centres for the Teaching of French (CREF) is collecting data on all teachers of French in public Primary and Junior High schools. This exercise was conducted last year but it could not be successful because of the scanty information received.

The exercise aims at updating information on the teaching and learning of French in terms of number of teachers and their qualification, experience and training needs, as well as the number of schools and students studying French at these levels.

The data will be collected by the Metropolitan/Municipal/District education offices using their School Improvement Support Officers (SISO), and entered in the excel template and then sent (soft copy) directly to Headquarters through the Kobocollect link: https://ee.kobotoolbox.org/x/JHbLw4uC, latest by Friday, 22nd March, 2024. Kindly share the soft copy of the excel template and the Kobocollect link: https://ee.kobotoolbox.org/x/JHbLw4uC with the districts.
