A release from Teacher Unions to National Labour Commission

 

Teachers  will continue to applaud the teachers unions if they continue to battle for teachers. Teachers unions have been on the media space about a weeks ago about the appointment of the new Director General and it related issues.

The teacher unions have also addressed some relevant issues to National Labour Commission.

If only the teacher unions will remain resolute and fight for the welfare of teachers, teachers will be valued most in communities and in the nation, we count on them to continue to fight against any improper conduct in the Education sector.

It must be noted that these eleven (11) issues below have been brought before Labour Commission on which Labour Commission has directed that, the management of  Ghana Education Service and the union leaders sit to address them.
