Following a leaked audio which has become the talk in town.
Ghana Police Service led by Dr. George Akuffo Dampare interdicted some officers involved in this case.
The Ghana Police Service after days of interdicting these officers, have released a letter, which reads;
1. Following the interdiction of COP/Mr George Alex Mensah, Supt/Mr Emmanuel Eric Gyebi and Supt/Mr George Lysander Asare in connection with the leaked audio tape, the Police Administration would commence disciplinary proceedings into their conduct upon completion of the ongoing probe by Parliament.
2. In order not to prejudice the ongoing probe, the Police Administration has suspended their interdiction.
Ebentrends will follow upon completion of the probe by Parliament and update the House on all relevant information.
