On March 24th, 2023, WAEC announced that it has requested schools and students whose test results were held for investigation to come forward. The investigation period will run from March 28th to March 31st, 2023. Students in the Central Region of Ghana should go to the Cape Coast branch of WAEC, while students in the Ahafo region, Bono region, and Boni East region should go to the Sunyani office. The West African Examination Council in Ghana has released a statement inviting candidates who participated in the West African Secondary School Certificate Examination for school candidates in 2022 in the Central and Ahafo/Bono/Bono East regions to assist with investigations into examination irregularities.
The candidates whose results were withheld due to alleged involvement in examination irregularities are kindly asked to report to the Council's Cape Coast branch office from March 28th to March 30th, 2023, and to the Sunyani branch office from March 28th to March 31st, respectively.
